Emo is so last year but I'm outdated so sue me.

My heart weighs down like a tonne of burdens,dragging along the road of needles & pins.It prickles in pain but it still throbs unconsciously,it hangs by a thread.

Gosh I hate you for leaving me with a heavy heart & teary eyed. :( You suck.

But you know deep down I love you like mad. I know you wanna come back looking all fine & toned up, that's fine by me. It's fine by all of us. But there's a gym at a near by club house too? :(

Fine, I'm sorry. I'm just sore & bruised. I know it's only 3 months & not forever but this feeling isn't what I'm used to.


I hope you come back with what you wanted achieved & perfected. We all miss you so much! :')

Swing under the cherry tree.

I love swings.


There's nothing in this world that could beat the swinging awesome-ness of swings. Okay...Maybe a handful of things but swings are definitely on my list of top 10 favorite things to do. A list which I'm going to create soon enough!

I love swings. They make me go higher.

Up up and away I go, then swoosh back down to earth again. When I close my eyes, when my feet doesn't touch the ground, it really feels like I'm flying off to space.

No worries. I'm not on crack or anything. Promise! Just the other day I dropped by at my housing area's newest park/playground. That quick breeze on my face while I'm on the swing made me feel like a kid again.

I never understood my parents when they say, " You ah,stop making a big fuss about it! Wait til' you grow up then you'll see!"

While I was swinging for the momentum, it was clear to me. Looking at little children playing & running around without a care, how lucky they are. The sweet carefree life that every toddler should cherish before they hit puberty, adolescence then finally making little running kids of your own.

Every now and then, I would pay a visit to a nearby playground & sit myself on a swing. It really does calm your soul.

I love swings. They just rule my world :)

Cause' without you all I'm going to be is imcomplete.

I never thought that I would say this but here goes..

I went to a Backstreet Boys concert.


It's concerts like these that you either love or hate, I chose to have fun since I had complimentary tickets.Why not,right?

The opening.

Remember in the 90's where boy bands were such a sensation? Backstreet Boys were one of the pop boy bands that every girl (or guy..er.) fall head over heels for.

Time has changed.

But all in all, I had a good time singing along to the songs I once loved so much. It reminded me of the times where I used to clutched on to my Backstreet Boys poster in hope that one day I will be Mrs Nick Carter. Heee:) There's something about blue eyed blonds that makes my heart go gaga. Ha!


During the concert, we didn't even bother to run to the front. I think that spared us the kink in our necks & the smelly sweaty from the crowd. We stood a fair distant away under a cooling palm tree & waved our arms to their tunes. The song "Incomplete" really stole my heart away. Phew.. :)

What's hilarious is that they kept wiping the sweat off their faces cause' they weren't used to our weather. Haha:D

That was it! It was plenty of fun. That ain't no lie.


As for today, there was a Cuppacake event. It was the opening of Wondermilk & it was madly packed.

I expected myself to munch on a dozen of those little babies but after 3 cuppacakes, I felt like an overweight cow. God knows what they put in their cupcakes man. o.0

Wait. That wasn't it. I still had to wait for another hour and a half for yet another layer of dye. Poor poor hair. So to keep myself from sinking into the brink of insanity, I flipped through a couple of mags & saw..

Switchfoot '08.

Okay updates about Switchfoot. I guess it's overdue and it's ancient news but let me have my moment to talk about it la kay.. :|


I think most of you already know about Switchfoot freezing while singing half way into the song "American Dream". The only thing I can say about it all was that it was amazing. That could be an understatement too. Yes,it was that good.

And as always, I get stampeded by the exhilarated (& extremely wild) crowd. I think I still have the foot marks to prove it. Hah. Yet everything was worth it in the end. Everything. Despite being slapped across the face by sweat soaked hair(like whips across my face okay!), despite having to wait, despite it all.

Oh yes, Jon Foreman's eyes are blue. Ocean blue, that is. Also, he's pretty hot. Okay I am quite disgusted with myself cause' he's 33 years old and married with kids.

Anyway,I heard next up is Paramore. Oh man,please let it be true! :D

Did you guys watch American Idol today? I'm so disappointed on one of the decision that the judges made on one contestant. What a fatally wrong decision.

They kicked Josiah Leming out. CRAZY.

Oh no one really. Just this incredibly awesome singer who got kicked out of American Idol cause' the judges(or in this case, we could say that they are the 3 blind mice.) were too blind to see his flair in music. I mean, I usually respect the judges decisions, but this one was WRONG.

What a waste,man. He's pretty good looking and I actually searched for him in Youtube, he has got good pipes. Plus, magic fingers when it comes to playing the piano. The original song that he sang on his first audition is on his Myspace, listen to it cause' it's amazing. He's definitely got something going for him.

The only downside to him is that he cries at just about everything. MAN UP ALREADY. o.0

Well, I'll still continue supporting him(somehow..) cause' he really deserves more than just an audition and bad decisions from judges. Oh and..

I just found out something today.


The sex of my sugar gliders.



I mean, it was inappropriate to ask them myself. While their doing their business, I realize one of them has this thing hanging around below their abdomen. Just to be sure, I(being the shy and well mannered person that I am.heh) then went on google and typed in:

"HOW TO TELL THE SEX OF YOUR SUGAR GLIDERS!??"

Good old google provided me with great answers. I basically clicked on the 1st thing that popped up and it was written in point form. Point form,man!


Step one
Turn your sugar glider over so that its belly is exposed. Hold your sugar glider securely but soothingly. You want to make your sugar glider feel comfortable while you are inspecting its anatomy.

Okay, blah blah blahhahaw...

Look for a small, furry bump located further down the abdomen as an indication that the sugar glider is male.

That's it! The little furry bump that looks like a hairy mini marshmallow! Did I just spoiled the squishy goodness of mini marshmallows for you?

Yaknowwhat? All this time..ALL THIS TIME.. I thought he was a she and that's pretty degrading, even for a sugar glider.


Now, her name which used to be "Yzma" is now officially changed to "Zim". Don't ask me why. Let's just celebrate.

I just got my ipod fixed,that's all. It was malfunctioning like mad so I took it to be aided and now it's all good again.

Life without an ipod was quite the torture cause' I usually sleep with it. As in I listen to it while I go into my normal sleeping pattern? Yeah, you could say I had insomnia for a few days.

But in those few tuneless days, I substituted my ipod with..

..an old school walkman.

Hahahaha! I crack myself up. I was desperate as well. I needed a little music in my life, is that too much to ask for?

Tiny problem though, the stone age device needed batts and a cassette!


After rummaging through my room(and causing a real catastrophic mess), I found me some double A's and a cassette of my used to be fav artist,Pink. When you're desperate for music, you're more intended to say "that'll do" instead of complaining.

It's stuff like these that makes me appreciate the things we have now. Haha:)

My webby connection is back on so hooray hoohah! One puny problem though, the connection is almost snail paced. WHY! DANG IT!

Which got me wondering, we fret about the puniest problems. Have I talked about this before? I guess so. This thought has popped up on my mind many times before, why do care so much about the petty problems?

Just a few days ago while I was driving, I saw this two dogs sleeping their lazy bums in the middle of the road. They were obstructing the road so I guess honking would help them realize that they are in the way. I honked once. Twice.

They did not budge. The only muscle they moved were their eye lids, blinking at me.

With their unconditional manners, I had to inch my way outta there.

Come to think of though, we should be more like those mutts. No? :) A car coming towards my direction? Pft! I'll just relax. Oh it's speeding now? Ahh, it can wait. My head is about to be decapitated? Nah, no worries. My brains are under the wheels? OH WELL!

Er, not the best example but I guess sometimes we gotta stop and take a chill pill.

We went out with Lauranne the other day,you could say it was a little farewell.

The place where Sheng Jun lives reminds me of Wisteria Lane(from Desperate Housewives), the typical suburban area. Also, the place has a great view of a man made lake. To those who needs a perfect place to bring their date for this year's valentine's day, it's THERE. For inquiries of the place, call me. HAHA
