Hello.

I'm suppose to blog about my Japan trip but it'll be postponed cause' I'll just be a little patriotic and blog about Merdeka.

After 50 years of our triumph over the war on our independence, Malaysia has emerged to be a multi racial and bi-lingual country.Consisting of chinese, malays, indians and many other races living together in one country. Although many of us come from different backgrounds and have different colour of skin, we all share one thing; the Malaysian blood that run through our veins.

What's Malaysian blood, you ask? It is when you crave for mamak food at 1am in the morning, it is when you finish your every sentence with "lah", it's when you walk through the busy streets of the night market aka pasar malam with nothing but a baggy shirt with a pair of worn sandals. That is our malaysian blood.

So enough with my long ass motivation speech. Let's move on to what I actually did on Merdeka's eve, shall we?

This year's Merdeka was so simple. We didn't plan some huge party or anything, just a few buddies and a bowl of nachos. Yeap. Nachos.

Oh yeah! Not forgetting the homemade dip :P

Graham came too.

Did you know that nachos goes well with watching a little bit of America's next top model? Try it man. It actually tastes a little more exciting.

It goes well with Quiz Quest too.

We were just digging through our skulls for something to do and so Crys pulled this out from my couch. It's amazing what you can find in your own couch.

At around 11plus we were all on our way out to The Curve for the best view of fireworks.

Buddies:)

Fortunately for us, we found the best place to watch the fireworks. Under the stars(if there were any that night), on the green(and extremely uncomfortable) grass. Yes yes, it was all too perfect. We all sat there whacking and bruising ourselves (because of the ants) and waited for the count down to begin. Before we all knew it, cheers and screams filled the atmosphere followed by a very loud..

BANG.

After 15 mins of fireworks, the happy little elves merrily skipped their light feet back to their humble abode.

The end. :)
